NO HASSLE Warranty Terms & Conditions

PENDA CORPORATION warrants the listed truck accessories to the original retail purchaser against defects in material and workmanship when used on light trucks under normal operating conditions. As of the date of purchase, the duration of the individual warranties is as follows (valid only in the 50 United States).

VENTURE TONNEAU COVERS:

• COMPOSITE STRUCTURE & HARDWARE: Three (3) years of coverage from date of purchase.
• STRUTS: One (1) year coverage from date of purchase. Penda Corporation will exchange defective struts on a one-for-one basis during the one year time period.

This warranty does not apply to Penda truck accessories that have been improperly applied/installed or modified. It does not cover damage to the truck paint finish resulting from the installation of a Penda truck accessory. The warranty also does not apply to accessories installed on vehicles used for commercial purposes or any Penda product retailer representations, acts or omissions.

This warranty does not cover damage as a result of accident, misuse and/or unreasonable use, off-road travel, normal wear and tear, vehicle vibration, noise, vandalism, acts of God or unapproved chemical application. Please note that all Penda tonneau covers require proper maintenance in accordance with the recommendations listed in the OWNERS INFORMATION section of this warranty form. Penda tonneau covers are designed for application on truck rails free from aftermarket accessories. Installation over such accessories compromises product design specifics; any fit variation issues are not covered under this warranty.

Penda Corporation offers three ways to activate your NO HASSLE product warranty:

• MAIL: Cut off the attached Warranty Registration form, fill in all necessary data and mail to the Penda Warranty Headquarters.
• TELEPHONE: Call our Penda Warranty Headquarters at 1-866-PENDA-99. A customer service representative is available to process your information from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. (CST).
• ON-LINE: Access the Penda website (www.penda.com), locate the ON-LINE WARRANTY pages and fill in all necessary data.

Penda's obligation under this warranty is limited to the cost of repairing/replacing the defective truck accessory in accordance with this warranty. Cost of removal and installation are not included. To make a claim under this warranty, return the defective unit to the dealer from which it was purchased for warranty authorization number verification and exchange under this warranty. If you are unable to return to the dealer of purchase, you may go to any Penda dealer. For information on the nearest Penda dealer, contact Penda customer service at 1-800-356-7704.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary from state to state. Information or assistance regarding warranty claims may be obtained by writing Consumer Service, Penda Corporation, P.O. Box 449, 2344 W. Wisconsin Street, Portage, WI 53901.

WARNING:
Static electricity can cause fires. Always put containers holding flammables like gasoline on the ground before filling or opening.

OWNER'S INFORMATION

To insure years of trouble-free service, the following suggestions are recommended:

• Wash your tonneau cover in the shade with cool, clean water and a mild soap. Make sure to first flood the tonneau cover with water to remove surface grit that will scratch the finish when wiped.
• Check mounting hardware regularly to insure that all bolts or clamps are tight.
• Never drive your vehicle with the tonneau cover open.
• Lubricate the locks regularly with a good grade Teflon or silicone spray, using a can with an insertable plastic tube.
• Black rubber seals will retain color and flexibility if wiped regularly with an automotive rubber protective treatment.
